Payment Options
Property Tax payments may be sent via the US Postal Service to the Treasurer's Office. For your protection do not send cash through the mail. Payments must be postmarked by November 30th to avoid penalties, unless the 30th occurs on the weekend.

Property Taxes may be paid by cash, check, draft or Money Order in the Treasurer's Office. The Treasurer's Office is open between 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.
eCheck
Property taxes can be paid by an automatic withdrawal of funds from your checking account. Taxpayers paying online receive immediate confirmation of the payment made.

Credit Card Online
Property taxes can be paid online by credit card. Taxpayers paying online receive immediate confirmation of the payment(s) made.

In order to comply with the tax code the Washington County Treasurer uses a third party to process credit card payments for VISA, American Express, DISCOVER and Master Card. We use Official Payments Corporation (OPC) to process credit card payments. Official Payments Corporation charges a CONVENIENCE FEE for processing the payments.
